Hardy J. Schwartz, MD,FACC

Dr. Hardy Schwartz completed his cardiology fellowship at Temple University and moved to Sarasota in 2003. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Schwartz treats all cardiovascular diseases, but has a special interest in managing the unique problems of patients with valvular heart disease and congestive heart failure. He is currently Medical Director of the Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH) Non-invasive Cardiovascular Lab, and was previously Medical Director of the SMH Congestive Heart Failure Clinic.   Dr. Schwartz is known for advocating healthy diet and exercise lifestyle modifications.  When he is not in the hospital or office, Dr. Schwartz can usually be found swimming, cycling, and running all around Sarasota pursuing his passion for triathlon. Dr. Schwartz is accepting new patients at our Arlington Street location.
