Dr. Hepp is originally from Philadelphia Pennsylvania and relocated to Sarasota Florida with his wife and 3 children back in 1990.  He built Sarasota Memorial Hospital's first Electrophysiology Lab and was director of the Electrophysiology Lab for many years.  Dr. Hepp was involved in many research projects including antiarrhythmic drug therapy studies as well as Pacemaker and ICD studies. He brought many new ICD technologies to Sarasota and worked with all the major Pacemaker and ICD companies over the years. Dr Hepp graduated from Tufts Medical School in Boston.  He did his internship and residency at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston.  He completed his Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowship at Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.  He is board-certified in Adult Cardiovascular disease as well as Electrophysiology.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his children, working out, traveling, as well as cooking.
