Originally from Utah, Martin Kent obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utah State University in 2010. He worked at a residential treatment center for teenage boys before moving to Florida in 2016.

Marty completed his Physician Assistant education in 2019 at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He became Board Certified in 2019 and practiced cardiology in Boca Raton prior to joining Heart Specialists of Sarasota in 2021.

Marty enjoys reading and traveling with his wife in his leisure time.
