New Patients

Your visit may be telehealth or in person. If you don’t remember, please call our office to verify.  If your visit is telehealth, you will receive a call from your nurse the day before with the process to check-in.  Plan to arrive at least thirty minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Upon arrival please check in with a staff member at the front desk. This individual will verify your personal information, review your completed new patient forms, and scan your insurance cards. This information is carefully checked and verified at each and every appointment. Please be patient with our staff as it of the upmost importance that we maintain accurate patient information.

After the check in process is completed, you will be asked to have a seat in our waiting room until it is time for your appointment. We at Heart Specialists realize that your time is valuable, as is that of our doctors and staff. With that in mind, we make every effort to see our patients at their scheduled appointment times.

Heart Specialists of Sarasota understands that it may be necessary to reschedule an appointment due to an unexpected circumstance. We ask that you please be considerate of our provider’s time and call to reschedule 24 hours in advance to allow other patients to be seen at your assigned appointment time. Failure to provide 24 hour advanced notice will result in a $25.00 “no show” charge for an office visit and up to $150.00 for an advanced imaging test such as a Stress Echo, Nuclear Stress Test or PET.
